post-osce

OSCE is the acronym for objective structural clinical examination..
it is the 4-letter-word that is most feared by us 4th year students of Trisakti Med Sch.. failing this exam means having to repeat the whole KKD (pre-clinical) cycle..
needless to say the study period was hellish..

however, alhamdulillah, i got through and passed OSCE, even though at first i was deeply devastated after having done gone through the test as i was not convinced with how well i did it.. before getting the result i totally freaked out and couldn't sit still.. kesian my cuppycake for having to calm me down..i was really out of my mind but thankfully sane enough to not do anything stupid.
so on March 7th shortly after the result was announced (dammit i actually cried out real tears of pure relief after knowing i had passed!!) i immediately went on to celebrating my success - getting a pierce at my brow. i have been thinking about getting my brow pierced for quite some time already but never had enough courage to actually doing it, but when u are over the edge of any kind of feelings, be it overjoy(like how i was feeling at the time) or mad, doing crazy things spontaneously always makes me feel good..i love the fact that it's impulsive and need minimal rationalizing hehe=p
so off i went to TA mall with hawa..who, was totally against it the moment i voiced out my true intention.. she was like, "noooooooo..!!!!!" with this look on her face i suppose would be in horror.. should have taken a picture of it.. but i was so determined to do it that i brushed her no's off and dragged her along to the piercing store.. <hawa>

<voila>

i love it!!
don't u??

anyway yesterday, March 9th i followed Hawa to her friend's friend's wedding in Bekasi..the bride has totally nothing to do with neither me or Hawa but i tagged along somehow just to see a local wedding.. yea, i've been here for more than 3 years but i've never been to any local weddings.
so the day started with me waking up at around noon,to the sound of my hawa's incoming text on my hp..most of the trip was on the road getting lost.. and surprisingly, despite me being a foreigner, i was the one directing around the road since i was the only one who seemed to know more the way around than my local friends! ternyata aya is a major kaki merayau!!=p finally around 3+ pm we arrived at the reception but unfortunate for us it was raining cats and dogs..all of us were drenched, especially hawa since she couldn't run much with her kebaya. we had padang food and siomay..and later hurried home since the rain was getting heavier. see the reception is not really how we have in Malaysia, u know with proper tents and tables and seats arranged..this one, well, everything seemed unorganized..and sadly with the heavy rain, things got worse with torn tents and stuff.. i didn't even get to take a pic of the wedding altar and the bride and groom.. the bride was wearing this huugggee headset and i heard it's really heavy and the bride has to wear it since morning..eek..i don't think i can manage that.. patah tengkuk kot..

so that's my story..
